The AMAALA staff school—located within the staff village of the major AMAALA tourism destination on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast—is an integral part of the infrastructure and integrated residential community designed for the project’s workforce and operational teams.
General Framework of the Project
Residential Community: The staff village—designed along the lines of similar models like the smart and sustainable Red Sea villages—is conceived as a modern, integrated community featuring housing, administrative offices, and recreational and commercial facilities, alongside essential services such as hospitals and schools. Environmental Standards: These have been established to align with the objectives of the AMAALA and Red Sea Global destinations, prioritizing full reliance on sustainability and renewable energy, and aiming for global environmental certification (such as LEED).
Educational and International Structure
Dara International School: As part of the expansion to provide a comprehensive living environment for employees and their families, strategic partnerships—such as the one with the SEK Education Group—have been established to launch advanced international schools at the Amaala destination and within the Red Sea region, including Dara International School in Amaala. Curriculum and Features: The schools utilize the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and advanced global educational models that prioritize personalized and competency-based learning. They offer a balanced, co-educational environment featuring modern classrooms and science laboratories, as well as dedicated spaces for creativity, the arts, sports, and extracurricular activities, all designed to meet the needs of the families of the workforce and residents at the destination.
