The Diriyah irrigation network is a vital component of the infrastructure and history of the Diriyah area in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Closely linked to Wadi Hanifah, this network can be viewed through two primary lenses: its ancient historical significance and its modern aspect, represented by current development projects. With the major launch of the Historic Diriyah Development Project—led by the Diriyah Gate Development Authority—modern, sustainable irrigation networks have been planned and implemented in alignment with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
